Chief Blanket Mary Ann Charlie

Mary Ann Charley wove this blanket in October of 2023. She is a Navajo elder who has been weaving more than 50 years. She learned at a young age from her mother and grandmother. She is known for weaving soft blankets that replicate the Chief blanket designs of the 19th and early 20th centuries done by early Navajo weavers.
